4Synopsis and Career objectives: Having completed my M.Sc in Applied Botany and Post Graduation

Diploma in Medicinal and Aromatic Plants with a First class, from Kuvempu University, India, I would like to

delve into the fields of Plant Pathology, Medicinal and Aromatic Plants, Plant Physiology, Cell and Molecular

Biology, Plant Biotechnology, Pharmacology and Phytochemistry. I am desirable to face managerial,

operational, research and development challenges. I am confident of my functional abilities as an employee

and as a researcher. I am diligent and adaptable to scientific research challenges and managerial concerns.

4M.Sc. PROJECT WORK: 
 

4WORKING STATUS    : 1. Worked as a Junior Research Assistant in the Horticulture Biocentre Department, Government of Karnataka, Hulimavu, Bangalore. As a part of the job profile I have learnt the intricacies of Medicinal Aromatic and Dye Plants (MADP’s). Following are the details I am aware about Medicinal Aromatic and Dye Plants :

2. Worked as a Project Co-ordinator of Karnataka, for FAO project at Horticulture Biocentre Department, Government of Karnataka, Hulimavu, Bangalore. The project entitled “Organic Production of Under Utilized Medicinal, Aromatic & Natural Dye Plants Programme for Sustainable Livelihoods in South Asia” which is implemented in 5 sites of Karnataka. 
 

3. Presently working as a Field Officer for Organic Certification Programme at Eco-agri Research Foundation, Yeshwantpur, Bangalore which is a wing company of ISKCON, Bangalore. As part of my job profile I am carrying the following essential job functions :

• As a trained manpower to demonstrate effective organic practices and mandatory requirements for organic certification.

• Conducts promotional campaigns and follow-up with the farmers.

• Executes Field Inspection of all farmers in the GCP (Group Certification Program).

• Participating  in closure of Non-Compliances identified during external agency inspections and providing advisory services to new farmers as per ICS stipulation.
